Our stay at this little cabin in Pendleton County was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a peaceful retreat tucked away in the mountains. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, with everything we needed to relax and unwind.
What really made the experience special was the setting. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the farms and the West Virginia mountains, it was the perfect place to slow down, enjoy nature, and disconnect from the noise of everyday life. The mornings were especially memorable coffee outside with the fresh mountain air and complete tranquility also with a hot tub.
The hosts clearly put a lot of care into the cabin and making guests feel welcome. Every detail felt intentional and comfortable, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home.
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, a place to recharge, or just a cozy cabin experience in the mountains, this spot in Pendleton County is truly a gem. W

Me and my fiancé had such a great stay at the cabin! It was cozy, very clean, and had such a comfortable atmosphere. Everything felt so homey and welcoming! The cabin was exactly how it was described, had even more than we expected. We really enjoyed our time there and will definitely come back to stay again! I can’t recommend this cabin enough!

The stay had everything you could need. Very thoughtful. It snowed the day we left and it was beautiful. Lots of wildlife, from hearing tree frogs to the hoot owls. Plenty of deer and turkeys to watch. We will definitely save this place for a future stay!

"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8. Seeing God's words displayed in thoughtful design throughout this home reminds me of Deuteronomy 6:8-9 and 11:18-20. There is opportunity to grow in your faith by reflecting on the messages or by walking outside and observing glorious creation...listening to the silence of the fog upon the mountains or actually hearing the roosters sending messages back and forth. This was very different from the sights and sounds surrounding us back our way. And when you do interact with humans by venturing into town there is a different spirit. Our son went fishing and instead of competition he found comaraderie. A fisherman (a stranger) invited him to fish right next to him at Brandywine Lake in George Washington National Forest. Our Subaru Forester performed well and I impressed myself by navigating the steep switchbacks. Glorious.

Our stay at Pine Ride Manor was absolutely fantastic. The space was cozy and comfortable. The views were breathtaking. The pool table and hot tub were great perks of the home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals, with Linette sharing a homemade loaf of sourdough bread and local honey. While there was no TV, we were able to read, play games of pool, do puzzles, and spend quality time in peace. We just wish we could have stayed longer! We will certainly be back and can’t wait to see the area in a different season!!

This location is exactly as described and pictured! It is no exaggeration that the location is secluded and private - we were truly able to relax and enjoyed the peace and quiet for our entire stay. The house is expansive and there was plenty of room to spread out, the pool table, corn hole and hot tub were our favorite activities. We utilized the well-stocked kitchen to the fullest extent which allowed us to cook elaborate meals. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and the master shower with a rainfall shower head was very nice. The hosts are very responsive and while we did not need anything from them during our stay, they made it clear they were available if anything came up.

The cabin is just like the pictures! Along with homemade bread and honey, the host lays out birdfood and corn outside to encourage visits from the local wildlife. We saw numerous birds and deer and even a fox in the distance. The home is cozy and comes with everything you may need in the kitchen.
